Tony) Well, what to say?? You know me pretty well by now Metalion and do you think I would lie about such a thing? Do you think I have to lie about that sort of stuff? (Well, not really but the guy who told me is quite near you so….ED) I don’t know what kind of rumours there’s going around but people seem to to have a bad habit and talk shit about Abruptum. But people use to do that when it comes to things they don’t understand and are afraid of. And in these days when even Black Metal is well accepted (almost anyway) I’m proud to say that I created something people will never understand or accept.

Tony) It’s the same thing here, peoples opinions count nothing to me, Abruptum is evil (not music) put onto tape, vinyl, or whatever. There is nothing like Abruptum when it comes to come nearer a evil recording. Those who say other things don’t understand us. Abruptum keeps on shocking, amaze, cutting, twisting peoples minds and that is what counts. The real Abruptum believers might not be many but they are strong. Part 1 - Necrobutcher’s declining interest in Mayhem in 1990-1991.
From 1990, Pelle and Euronymous (referenced by the "we" in these letters) begin indicating Necrobutcher's lack of interest in Mayhem and conflicting priorities.
"We almost don't see him any more, because he's always with her. He doesn't use money on the band at all, Dead and I have to pay for everything.
Soon he's going on holiday with her, and we had to cancel a tour in Sweden because of that."

In 1989 and 1990, Euronymous writes to Morgan Håkansson, planning a potential tour in Sweden.
"We are more than ready to be in Sweden at the dates you wrote the first time - around the 25th of May, if it's still possible for you."
By early 1990 Euronymous is still trying to organise gigs with Morgan, but this was interrupted by Necrobutcher-
"Suddenly Necro Butcher is going for a holiday with his f*cking girlfriend, she's really destroyed him, and we're going to poison her. I thought I should ask if it's possible for you to put up the gigs around the middle of September or a bit earlier! That would be perfect for us."
Mayhem's international 1990 tour ended up running from November in Germany to December in Turkey. No tour to Sweden ever eventuated.

The Grief Prophecy was released by the mighty Dissection on this month in '91. It was also mixed on this day during the same year.
The first release of the demo cover was made by @kristianwahlin .
However, the cover of special edition of the demo (slide 2) was drawn by Dead. Morgan of @mardukofficial gave Jon the drawing, after he asked if it was ok to use it for the special edition of the demo.
It was meant to be used for Marduk's upcoming 7" release, Here's No Peace but it remain unreleased. It was eventually released on '97, albeit with a different artwork + 2 Bathory cover songs with a different lineup. It was eventually released on the 25th anniversary edition of Dark Endless, with the intended artwork. The whole story is mentioned by Morgan on the booklet of Here's No Peace from the 25th anniversary of Dark Endless.
Other than that, this is pretty much death metal, influenced by Entombed, Dismember, Carnage and Carcass. But it does have some melodies that would later shapen on their next release.
The intro would be later re-recorded, together with Shadows from the Lost Kingdom as one song on The Somberlain.
The title for the second track would be later re-purposed as a part of the lyrics for the same song, albeit it was slightly edited to "the calling of the mist".

"Those of The Unlight" é o segundo álbum de estúdio da banda sueca de black metal Marduk. Foi lançado em 1º outubro de 1993 pela Osmose Productions.
É o primeiro álbum que a banda produziu em um estilo black metal adequado, em oposição à abordagem blackened death metal de seu álbum de estreia de 1992, "Dark Endless".
"Those of The Unlight" é o último lançamento do Marduk a apresentar Joakim Göthberg na bateria, já que ele assumiria puramente as funções de vocal no próximo álbum de estúdio, "Opus Nocturne". Também foi o último lançamento de estúdio a ter dois guitarristas, já que Devo Andersson não estava na banda após esse lançamento, embora ele tenha retornado em 2004 como baixista.
"Burn My Coffin" era originalmente o título de uma das faixas que iria aparecer no álbum do Mayhem ,'"De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas", o título foi alterado por Per Yngve Ohlin antes de morrer. Mais tarde, Marduk adotou o título para a música deste álbum.
